Meet the Doctor
Dr. Alan Cook D.C.
Dr. Cook is a local to the area, having lived in North Bloomfield since he was born. He graduated from Maplewood High School in 2018, and immediately started undergraduate studies at Youngstown State University in biology with emphasis on Pre-Med. On an accelerated track he left YSU in 2021 to begin his Chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. He had over 1000 hours of clinical training as well as an internship completed in Green Bay Wisconsin. He graduated Cum Laude in February of 2025, and worked at a clinic for a short time before deciding that private practice was more appealing to him.
Dr. Cook has taken extensive training in Gonstead, Diversified, Activator, and SOT adjusting methods, as well as intensive training and research into nutrition. "I wanted to make sure I could serve my patients in the best way possible" says Dr. Cook. "I never wanted to be a Chiropractor who just 'cracked' people and sent them on their way... I want to help people heal"
Dr. Cook is a member at St. Lucy's Catholic Church in Middlefield. When he is not treating patients you can find him: taking hikes, hanging out with his family, feeding his inner child watching cartoons, shooting shotguns, or gardening!
